Dushanbe Hosts Green Climate Fund Board Meeting for the First Time
The 45th meeting of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board has opened in Dushanbe, marking the first time the Board has met in Tajikistan.

The meeting will run from 29 June to 2 July. During the four-day session, the Board will consider funding proposals, accreditation applications from organizations, and other items on the official agenda.
The Green Climate Fund (GCF) was established by the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The Fund finances projects in developing countries that support climate change mitigation and adaptation.
