36.5 km/h — and in elite company. Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov clocked a sprinter-level speed and shared second place among the fastest players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Alongside Erling Haaland, he ranks among the tournament’s quickest players. Only Australia’s Jordan Bos was faster, reaching 36.7 km/h. Behind them are world-renowned stars, including Kylian Mbappé and Son Heung-min.
