Uzbekistan Joins the World’s Fastest-Growing Tourist Destinations
According to the World Tourism Barometer, tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan increased by 25%.
Growth was also recorded in El Salvador (+37%), Paraguay (+34%), Bhutan (+31%), Vanuatu (+30%), Palau (+29%) and Mongolia (+27%). Tourist arrivals in the Republic of Korea increased by 21%.
According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 6,565,410 foreign citizens visited the country for tourism purposes from January to June 2026. This was 24.9% more than in the same period of 2025.
The growth in tourist arrivals shows that Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position in the international tourism market.
