Uzbek University Becomes Part of the Global Innovation Platform 8Foundry Alliance
Nizami National Pedagogical University has joined the international innovation cluster 8Foundry Alliance. The partnership will enable the university to expand cooperation with European universities and research centers, while providing students and researchers with access to new international projects, academic exchange programs, and collaborative research opportunities.
Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan has become one of the first universities in Central Asia to join the international innovation cluster 8Foundry Alliance.
The university recently hosted a meeting with representatives of the 8Foundry Alliance leadership, including Chairman Rafał Magryś and International Cooperation Specialist Piotr Mierzwinski. The meeting was also attended by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education and Rector of the university, according to UzA.
Hilola Umarova noted that expanding international cooperation is one of the key priorities for the university's development. Membership in 8Foundry Alliance will help strengthen ties with foreign universities and research centers while creating new opportunities for students and faculty members.
Through this partnership, the university’s researchers will be able to participate in joint studies with European partners, while students will gain opportunities to engage in international projects, present their ideas to foreign experts, and expand their professional networks.
In addition, representatives of the cluster plan to familiarize themselves with the university’s educational system and research potential. The parties also intend to organize exchange visits for faculty members and students, as well as implement a number of joint initiatives.
Chairman of 8Foundry Alliance Rafał Magryś highlighted the university’s strong potential and emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with Central Asia.
8Foundry Alliance is an international platform that brings together universities, research centers, businesses, and public institutions from Europe, Asia, and other regions of the world. The cluster is focused on fostering cooperation in education, science, innovation, and technology transfer, while helping its members find partners for joint projects and participation in international grant programs.
