According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the visit will be made at the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko.

The centerpiece of the visit will be high-level negotiations in Minsk focused on increasing bilateral trade and scaling up joint initiatives. The agenda includes cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, as well as the light and food industries. A package of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed following the talks.

On the eve of the negotiations, the Belarusian capital will host the third Interregional Forum, bringing together representatives of regional administrations and the business communities of both countries.

High-level dialogue between the two nations has remained active in recent years. Mirziyoyev visited Belarus in 2019, while Lukashenko paid an official visit to Tashkent in 2024.
