Five Central Asian Countries to Take the Global Robotics Stage
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will represent Central Asia at the FIRST Global Challenge 2026 in Incheon, South Korea.

The competition will take place from October 7 to 10, 2026, bringing together school students from more than 190 countries.
FIRST Global Challenge is an international robotics competition where teams of school students from around the world design and program robots to tackle a shared engineering challenge.
The 2026 theme is “Igniting Innovation”, focusing on technologies that can help prevent wildfires, fight their impact and support the recovery of affected areas.
One of the competition’s key features is that teams do not just compete against each other – they also work together with students from other countries. FIRST Global combines competition with international collaboration, challenging participants to find solutions to a shared engineering problem alongside teams from around the world.
Alongside the main robotics competition, the New Technology Experience gives participants an opportunity to develop their own technology ideas aimed at detecting, preventing and fighting wildfires.
