The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has held talks with Singapore-based Sunvera Solar Pte. Ltd. to discuss the possible construction of a facility for manufacturing photovoltaic (PV) cells and solar modules with an annual production capacity of up to 2 GW.

The meeting brought together Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Benazir Nurlanova, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the management of Sunvera Solar.

According to the ministry, the company is considering Kyrgyzstan as one of the potential locations for implementing its overseas investment project.
